Stereotypes of French people are all true. As I trudged down the busy streets running on 30 hours without rest, I remarked how everyone was wearing tight black clothing and carrying a 3 foot baguette, or hard bread over their shoulder. They all had a hard pokerface that was impossible to break, even with our eastern NC smiles and honest attempts to speak French. Despite these observations, a sense of French beauty and charisma flowed out of each cafe, boutique, and monument that I know had been present for centuries past. It amazes me how the French value their traditions and uphold them with the same etiquette they have and always will present.
